User-facing deliverable

Flutter MUD client targeting desktop and mobile with Lua scripting and configurable client features.

Packaging approach

Obtain a compatible license, then determine a Guix Flutter toolchain/dependency path and replace unconstrained pub dependencies with a reproducible locked graph.

Known blockers and investigation points

No redistribution license; pubspec uses several any constraints and a missing local path dependency (script_runner).

Acceptance checks

Pin an immutable upstream release or commit and record a real Guix source hash.
Build without network access using Guix-provided dependencies; do not download runtimes or plugins during the build.
Preserve all applicable project and bundled-component license notices.
Verify the installed launcher/version output and run an offline protocol smoke test against a local fake MUD endpoint where the platform permits it.
Keep profiles, logs, maps, plugins, and other mutable state outside the store.

Checked on 2026-08-22 against GNU Guix, Nonguix, Guix Science, Guix HPC, Guix Past, Guix R Us, and RDE, plus all states of this repository issue tracker. No same-upstream package or existing ticket was found. GNU Guix already packages TinTin++ and POWWOW; this candidate is distinct.

Reopen when upstream adds a free-software license covering code and assets, removes or freely replaces Menlo, commits or removes the missing path dependency, and a source-complete offline Flutter/Dart build path is available in Guix or explicitly accepted as additional scope.

Closing as not planned because current upstream cannot legally or reproducibly be redistributed as a Guix package. HEAD 5d76247819b9e5127d67d47dca98da626323585b has no project license, includes an Apple Menlo font without a redistribution grant, references an absent ../script_runner path dependency, and requires a Flutter/Dart closure that current GNU Guix does not provide.
