Scope
Package the independently playable roguelike from source. The canonical repository, latest stable release, source hash, complete dependency closure, and relationship to parent games or sibling forks must be established before implementation. Do not substitute an opaque prebuilt binary.

Acceptance checks
guix lint -L . <package>has no package-specific findings.guix build -L . --no-grafts <package>succeeds without network access or opaque binaries.guix build -L . --no-grafts --check <package>verifies reproducibility.Imported from GitHub issue/PR. Originally posted by htayj on 2026-08-24T17:35:26Z.
Goocastle recorded disposition: blocked.
Blocked: no canonical, immutable upstream source closure is currently available. The issue pins http://lunicsoftware.com.au/yarl.7z; direct fetches on 2026-09-21 returned HTTP 500 twice, including one retry, while DNS still resolved lunicsoftware.com.au to 101.0.114.115. Wayback's availability API returned no archived snapshots for that exact URL, Common Crawl index CC-MAIN-2025-05 had no exact capture, and the Wayback CDX endpoint was temporarily unavailable (HTTP 503). IRLDb (identifier 47e013c) confirms only that Yarl is an alpha Visual Basic 2008 game by john Palmer, version 0.0.2 dated 2008 August 8, with a reported GPL V3 license and that opaque download URL. GitHub repository searches returned unrelated same-name projects and none attributable to this Yarl. Consequently, the canonical maintained repository or immutable release/revision, source hash, exact code license text, license and redistribution coverage for fonts/tiles/sounds/maps/documentation/bundled dependencies, offline build system, and dependency closure cannot be verified. No meaningful deterministic runtime invocation can be specified from source metadata. Guix daemon is unavailable in this research environment, but the missing authoritative source closure precedes any feasible build or runtime proof. Unblock by providing an accessible canonical source repository and/or a published, immutable archive capture at a fixed hash, plus license and build metadata covering the complete shipped closure; then re-run research.
