Package the pinned upstream source as the stated deliverable, retaining upstream notices and making runtime services, credentials, downloaded assets, and optional integrations explicit. Reconstruct the Linux build and native dependencies from the release scripts, then audit vendored OpenMusic and platform assets for compatible redistribution.
Acceptance checks
guix lint -L. om-sharppasses with no new errors.guix build -L. om-sharpsucceeds from the pinned source with tests enabled where practical.Imported from GitHub issue/PR. Originally posted by htayj on 2026-08-14T13:17:19Z.

Blocked at pinned source d657100443e02e71b7033f45483e77e3aea6bb36 (master, commit dated 2022-09-11; no exact tag). Parent https://github.com/cac-t-u-s/om-sharp provides LICENSE and src/LICENCE, both GNU GPL version 3. The only Git submodule is src/lisp-externals/slime, separately fetched from https://github.com/cac-t-u-s/slime at 9005cdaac4c0adaa8e26ee5285c7b155762c0ce5; its pinned README states that files not explicitly stated otherwise are public domain. build/build.lisp uses LispWorks-specific lw::set-default-character-element-type and CAPI, loads the pinned Swank loader plus in-tree XML, Yason, cl-svg, ieee-floats, lispworks-udp, and mach-lib sources, and build/build.lisp and build/deliver.lisp call LispWorks deliver with :interface :capi. build/linux/Makefile invokes the undeclared, non-free LispWorks executable through $(HOME)/bin/lw -build and then installs the delivered executable plus in-tree Linux shared objects. Thus the canonical Linux source build is not Free Software source-buildable and cannot be reproduced with an SBCL/CCL/toolchain package closure. No equivalent om-sharp package exists in the local channel. Unattended Guix delivery is unsafe unless the pinned source is rebuilt on a free Common Lisp implementation (with LispWorks/CAPI-specific code replaced by available equivalents), or upstream or the project publishes a documented free-software source path that produces the same Linux deliverable. A future revision must also reconcile the GPL source tree with the separately public-domain submodule, establish licenses of all independently fetched origins, and inventory/replace the in-tree Linux natives. The host boundary expressly disables the Guix daemon, so no source-build proof was attempted or claimed.
