Bell Labs Software Museum

This repository catalogs historically significant Bell Labs software from preserved source distributions and primary documentation.

The first collection is Inferno 1e1, represented by a pinned upstream source submodule. Start with the documentation index.

Clone with the source material:

git clone --recurse-submodules git@github.com:htayj/bell-museum.git

For an existing clone:

git submodule update --init --recursive

The museum's original documentation and tooling are MIT licensed. Material in source submodules retains its upstream copyright and license notices.
